General Balancing

Balancing  in a modpack is the  2nd most important thing when  making it.
But instead of chaning tons and tons of recipes, you  can simply add mods that make the game difficult..
In what aspect?
In item obtaining and using...
Such as Reskillable!
A mod  that requires progression through exp for the player  to use better armour and items  such as:
- A full  set of diamond armour requires  the defense to be upgraded.
- Swinging a diamond enchanted sword will do nothing if you don't have the required levels of attack.
- To make an anvil you need to upgrade  your magic.
Many different  vanilla aspects are affected by this mod!

Adding this mod or similar like X Life health.
These type of mods make the game  "hard" not  un-playable...

Tough as nails is another great mod that hardens survival!
It adds well temperature and a thirst bar!
If you just happen to take a walk outside on a desert biome in the day, you'll start to get hotter...
So same goes for a colder biome but you'll feel hypothermia!
This mod also makes when a stone is broken to drop small rocks (of each rock type)
To counter the freezing - heating, 2 new enchantments are now added with the mod.
Cooling and warming!

Note, if you take the time to search curseforge for mods like these, you will find an abudant amount!
As many cool mods exist and keep on coming out!
Well, Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!

Changing recipes

When it comes to modpacks. Throwing a bunch of mods together, doesn't work always.... They are overpowered as items of significant use can be gained very easy... So that's when crafttweaker comes in to play! Crafttweaker is the  successor of the old minetweaker. Crafttweaker combined with modtweaker can tweak other  mod mechanics and recipes to  the point of removal, customization and with game stages lock and unlocking! A complete showcase of  craftertweaker will be uploaded in  my other blog. Since I used to love minetweaker. Crafttweaker  has changed... So I have to get to know it once again! Back to the point... Changing recipes is a balancing  proccess required in many modpacks. As  it reduces players getting  op items early on.... For example: A modpack will be broken if from early on you can craft a  regeneration amulet or something incredible overpowered.... A modpack can have mods that give resources very easy but each on...

The Future of Infinity Stones and more...

Infinity Stones as of now is currently available in 1.12.2 alone... Well, that changes as it will be in 1.16.5 too! With some slight changes such as: - For starters the name of the mod: Revamped Infinity Base! - A cleaner base on weapons as durability and their crafting recipes are stabilized. - Decorative blocks can be crafted by placing an ingot in the stone cutter. Simple as that! - New weapons and equipment will be available by using addons (not out yet)! - Tabs are clean as of the 1.12.2 version so will the new version be. Some pics for you to see what's coming!

Modpack and NPC WAR

The modpack I am making is a modpack based on something I was always in search of. Quests, adventure, magic and tech! It mainly uses custom npcs mod as it's main core, for other npcs and such. Furthermore many of the textures (used in custom npcs mod) that you will see are not mine. They were made by NPC WAR. His youtube channel can be found here: NPC'S WAR Youtube Channel The textures I used are here (both in old and new format): NPC'S WAR Custom Skins In this pack you will find: - Custom made biomes from a simple desert to the scary blackstone lands! - A huge variety of npcs in almost every village! - A lot of quests for basic survival, leveling and map related! - Tons of weapons and armor to choοse from! - Many different shops in each area ranging from tool smiths to an exp eater! - A big variety of building styles, block matching and detail to the last block! - The trading system if used correctly, lots of profit can be made from each shop! - Every hostile npc has drop...
