General Balancing

Balancing  in a modpack is the  2nd most important thing when  making it. But instead of chaning tons and tons of recipes, you  can simply add mods that make the game difficult.. In what aspect? In item obtaining and using... Such as Reskillable! A mod  that requires progression through exp for the player  to use better armour and items  such as: - A full  set of diamond armour requires  the defense to be upgraded. - Swinging a diamond enchanted sword will do nothing if you don't have the required levels of attack. - To make an anvil you need to upgrade  your magic. Many different  vanilla aspects are affected by this mod! Adding this mod or similar like X Life health. These type of mods make the game  "hard" not  un-playable... Tough as nails is another great mod that hardens survival! It adds well temperature and a thirst bar! If you just happen to take a walk outside on a desert biome in the day, you'll start to ...

By adding only 100 mods or less, more people can play and enjoy your pack and while playing fps will be at a good rate. How to make a modpack different and unique from others? Well, making a modpack is an "easy" step but it coming out as unique? Something that will surely make it unque is adding custom items, or ideas in it. Tools for doing this: world painter or in-game mod world-edit. Re-writting or renaming items in game can for sure give minecraft a new feel. Choosing themes

Making a modpack is a fairly simple process for everyone! It all starts with  an idea, a theme that you want  to revolve around your choice of mods, story, and or quests! Modpacks nowadays tend to be mixed, meaning: They combine two or more aspects of mod in them like: magic and tech or tech and rpg. An example of that would be RLCraft. RLCraft is a modpack made by Shivaxi. It revolves around leveling, mob  fights, weaponry and adventures! Grinding exp levels to advance your skills in order to aqcuire better armour, weapons and in general upgrade your character. But, let's say you  want to make an adventure modpack. Adventure packs while so many in curseforge, not all are the same. They tend to have mods like: More biomes, or more structures for  exploration and fun. Mods that add or change the animals that minecraft has. To make a modpack more interesting you can make it: - Story based. -Exploration. -Custom map based. -Balanced between certain aspects ...
