Config Changing

  Since we talked about  changing  recipes to your liking. Many mods when added into Minecraft create a config file containing item and block ids,  or mechanics and other stuff  related to each mod. For the people who don't know: Config files can be found here: In  the  windows bar: Type %appdata%. Open Minecraft's directory. Open the Config folder. There should cfg files for each mod that you have  added. CFG files can be opened with a simple text editor or  Notepad ++. They are very easy to change as many of  the things in a config file have a true or false in the end. Meaning: You add a mod  that adds new  blocks in  the game. You want  to change some ids along with a hardening difficulty the  mod adds. You will open and find the mod's config file (see above), open the mod's config. Find the id's you want to change and the line with the  difficulty. In  the end if it  says true change it to fals...

Choosing themes

  Making a modpack is a fairly simple process for everyone! It all starts with  an idea, a theme that you want  to revolve around your choice of mods, story, and or quests! Modpacks nowadays tend to be mixed, meaning: They combine two or more aspects of mod in them like: magic and tech or tech and rpg. An example of that would be RLCraft. RLCraft is a modpack made by Shivaxi. It revolves around leveling, mob  fights, weaponry and adventures! Grinding exp levels to advance your skills in order to aqcuire better armour, weapons and in general upgrade your character. But, let's say you  want to make an adventure modpack. Adventure packs while so many in curseforge, not all are the same. They tend to have mods like: More biomes, or more structures for  exploration and fun. Mods that add or change the animals that minecraft has. To make a modpack more interesting you can make it: - Story based. -Exploration. -Custom map based. -Balanced between certain aspects ...
