The Future of Infinity Stones and more...

Infinity Stones as of now is currently available in 1.12.2 alone... Well, that changes as it will be in 1.16.5 too! With some slight changes such as: - For starters the name of the mod: Revamped Infinity Base! - A cleaner base on weapons as durability and their crafting recipes are stabilized. - Decorative blocks can be crafted by placing an ingot in the stone cutter. Simple as that! - New weapons and equipment will be available by using addons (not out yet)! - Tabs are clean as of the 1.12.2 version so will the new version be. Some pics for you to see what's coming!

Ideas about Infinity Stones and more

So for the mod, some ideas for future updates... Enjoy (this is not yet implemented to the mod). So there’s a small chance that an ore will be added either by using a transmutation staff on ultimatum ore and it will be converted to Asgardian Iron , Or  it will be added as a special rare ore. Now, asgardian iron has half  the durability of diamonds and twice the damage but it can be combined with either diamonds or iron blocks and coal to create asgardian steel (which is similar to uru ). If a player holds in his hands a weapon made of that and he gets struck by lightning he will get an effect for 10 seconds which will make him fast, regenerate and deal excessive damage as he is granted “ Thor’s Blessing ”. Thor’s Blessing is a buff related to the Norse God, it is granted to those who honor him by using weapons made of the same material as his hammer, Mjolinir. Icon should be a hammer. Gungnir may be added as a special weapon, as the mighty spear of ...

Project Create Mechanicus

Project Create Mechanicus... A modpack in progress using a very special mod (still in the making).. This idea began from Duke2die4 an amazing person from the Final Community!! If you like playing online in servers such as: Create Above and Beyond, or Better Minecraft, or Project Architect. Come join! The rules are simple, be kind to everyone, no griefing and just enjoy yourself in every adventure! Now, more to the pack... The pack has mods such as: Tinkers Construct, Create, Buddy Cards and more! I'll also post the link for the discord of the community! More news soon!

Upcoming Projects!

Hello again... This has been a really long time away from my projects and what I do.... There's not much time left for me in the army. So this means that I'll continue to upload and notify you about many great things! A modpack I've been working on.. A couple of small (and big) mods that have a single goal in mind.... To be enjoyable and simple! Can't wait to be back at my work again! Stay safe and have a nice summer!

Item - Fluid - Energy Transfer

For those who have played a modpack with a lot or few tech mods know my pain of early power and start... Cables and wires just fill your base... When it comes to machines the 2nd most important thing to know is: Cables - Wires - Pipes: Names - Uses: A cable is used for transfering items while a wire for power and last a pipe (or fluiduct) for liquids. But, let's say you have reached a certain level of resource hoarding and you are pretty stacked, you can immidiately move to wireless items which are wayy better because: 1) Wireless power takes less time to be transmitted as it negates the use for cables. 2) With mods like Ender Storage you can move items directly where they are required for crafting instead of doing this: Farm to Main storage to automation... 3) You won't have a messy under floor filled up to the brink with tons and tons of cables! 4) Your base can be pretty again! 5) You can effectively maximize your automation capabilities without causing too much lag that m...

Test and play it

So you may have gathered mods that you like tweaked them a bit and have found a great combo of alterations, mods and some ideas but... Have you tested them in a actual gameplay? To test a modpack that you have made, you must take the time to play it! Or you can go one step further and play it with your friends just to know if changes should be made! A pretty straight - forward step but an important one! Fact : If you are experiencing lag issues or lag spikes you can add: Better Fps or optifine or.... Tweak some changes from the ingame config such as: Viewing distance, fancy effects (blocks, textures and such). Or be sure to use the correct version of core mods needed for the main mods that you have added as it seems that if you use older or mods that have a confilct with each other it can cause lag... So... be sure to have fun and pour your creativity into your favorite game!

Overpowered Items

Let's talk about one thing we all know... Overpowered items! What does it mean: Overpowered is something that gives certain buffs, has high damage or something that enables you to become invincible. Adding a mod that has items like: baubles, artifacts, wings or mounts can be considered overpowered if left unedited. Having overpowered weapons, amulets or even armours is okay! For example: Screenshot from my world... A gorgon's head... From the mod Ice and Fire. When a gorgon is killed it will drop it's head while the body will fall and start to spew out blood. Found in a temple under the first floor. I'd say the hardness to kill one is 4/10 as you only neeed a shield, a sword and to wear a blindfold or else you'll become a stone.. Dragon scale armour... While it may sound easy to slaughter a dragon it is not at all.... Dragon scale armour (in RLCraft) is an early great armour to have as it provides well (amazing aesthetics) and a good way of protection against mobs...

General Balancing

Balancing  in a modpack is the  2nd most important thing when  making it. But instead of chaning tons and tons of recipes, you  can simply add mods that make the game difficult.. In what aspect? In item obtaining and using... Such as Reskillable! A mod  that requires progression through exp for the player  to use better armour and items  such as: - A full  set of diamond armour requires  the defense to be upgraded. - Swinging a diamond enchanted sword will do nothing if you don't have the required levels of attack. - To make an anvil you need to upgrade  your magic. Many different  vanilla aspects are affected by this mod! Adding this mod or similar like X Life health. These type of mods make the game  "hard" not  un-playable... Tough as nails is another great mod that hardens survival! It adds well temperature and a thirst bar! If you just happen to take a walk outside on a desert biome in the day, you'll start to ...

Version of Minecraft

Minecraft has many versions and keeps updating! Choosing the best and most stable version is key... As of  right now, many modpacks come  out in 1.12.2 , 1.15.2 and 1.16.4. Playing in a newer version offers things such as: - Stable mods -Better game and mod mechanics -A huge variety of vanilla items  that come with (1.12.2 +) Well, making a good modpack is simple. You choose the best and most playable version of minecraft which is now common (1.12.2). As some mods have not been updated (yet) to 1.15.2 and 1.16.4. When making a modpack you should also use the reccomended version of forge supported in that specific version of minecraft.

Config Changing

Since we talked about  changing  recipes to your liking. Many mods when added into Minecraft create a config file containing item and block ids,  or mechanics and other stuff  related to each mod. For the people who don't know: Config files can be found here: In  the  windows bar: Type %appdata%. Open Minecraft's directory. Open the Config folder. There should cfg files for each mod that you have  added. CFG files can be opened with a simple text editor or  Notepad ++. They are very easy to change as many of  the things in a config file have a true or false in the end. Meaning: You add a mod  that adds new  blocks in  the game. You want  to change some ids along with a hardening difficulty the  mod adds. You will open and find the mod's config file (see above), open the mod's config. Find the id's you want to change and the line with the  difficulty. In  the end if it  says true change it to fals...

Changing recipes

When it comes to modpacks. Throwing a bunch of mods together, doesn't work always.... They are overpowered as items of significant use can be gained very easy... So that's when crafttweaker comes in to play! Crafttweaker is the  successor of the old minetweaker. Crafttweaker combined with modtweaker can tweak other  mod mechanics and recipes to  the point of removal, customization and with game stages lock and unlocking! A complete showcase of  craftertweaker will be uploaded in  my other blog. Since I used to love minetweaker. Crafttweaker  has changed... So I have to get to know it once again! Back to the point... Changing recipes is a balancing  proccess required in many modpacks. As  it reduces players getting  op items early on.... For example: A modpack will be broken if from early on you can craft a  regeneration amulet or something incredible overpowered.... A modpack can have mods that give resources very easy but each on...

Tips on modpacks..

For sure many modpacks nowadays have almost 100+ mods in them. Many people can't play a modpack with 200 mods and have good fps, so thinking around 100- mods should be a good start. By adding only 100 mods or less, more people can play and enjoy your pack and while playing fps will be at a good rate. How to make a modpack different and unique from others? Well, making a modpack is an "easy" step but it coming out as unique? Something that will surely make it unque is adding custom items, or ideas in it. Meaning: Making a custom map for your modpack or making custom npcs that you can trade and talk to. Adding a story to it which fits the whole custom map idea and gives it a more customized touch! Tools for doing this: world painter or in-game mod world-edit. Re-writting or renaming items in game can for sure give minecraft a new feel. While, for this you can use CraftTweaker, all information on how to use it is available on their site. (some knowledge of code is require...

What mods..?

Since we talked about choosing a theme for your modpack.. I'ts time to discuss about the next important part of the modpack-making, mods! Mods can be vastly found throughout the web but (for me) the best and safer page is curseforge . Search mods in curseforge, consider each and evey mod but choose only the ones that will fulfill a specific purpose in your modpack and mods that are useful to you. There are many mods out there such as: Recipe helping mods: (JEI) FPS Stabilization: (Optifine, Better fps, foamfix). Map/Teleportation: (Journeymap, Antique atlas, map writer, waystones, bonfires) Visual/Sound Enchancement: (Dynamic trees, dynamic surroundings, shaders) Combat Addons: (Spartan Weaponry, Spartan Shields, Tinker's Construct) Tech: (Thermal Expansion, Industrial Foregoing) Magic: (Bewitchment, Thaumcraft) I have written some of the very mainstream mods. The list could go on and on. Mods are a very essential part of any modpack, thus they should be chosen carefully and ...

Update..

The current modpack I'm working on was in a much older version... I will stop making it to update it in a much more stable version... But I will  try to post a pack I've been working on in 1.12.2 version! Sorry for the delay...

Blackstone Lands

After the Village of Caran ends, the ground starts to change drastically. It's colours now distorted to a black variation, rivers of poisoned water.... Out of these god - damned lakes, obsidian pillaroids liek spikes come out.... Infused by the necro-race using dark magic to distort the beautiful rivers and forests it once was..... No animals seem to be able to live in such toxic place.... Only reapers and some twisted forms of golems do..... White - boney dragons just sitting there, drinking from the green goo like it's water....... Some ruins now lay upon this forsaken place..

Village Of Caran

Near your crash beloved traveller, you will find the 1st village...  The Village Of Caran...! A medieval-ish village with many builds, mostly shops a small graveyard, an execution tool and indoors small dwarf - made mine! In the first village there can be found: - A coin trader: Give him the required blocks / ingots to get back coins! - An Enchanter Shop: Selling enchanted books, EXP orbs and some weapons! - An elven made tree - shop: Selling many different kind of wood and saplings! - A farmer shop: Selling seeds and vegetables! - A armour shop: Selling some (as they are way too many to fit in a NPC)! Also, a small lake for fishing is in the village, as well as a Redwood Tree! But more awaits you to explore!

Builds and such!

This is a adventure - quest - leveling map! It provides an enormous style and abusrd amount of building! Many building ideas have been taken from movies, sceneries, rpg games or are my own ideas. I like to incorporate different styles so each area is unique in it's own way! Also, a kind of bookish story is coming up about this very project! Builds such as can be found in it: - shops ( almost in every village/ city) - monuments (either to a god or a deity) -ruins (ruined houses/towers or other) -mazes (mazes leading to a boss, or a reward) -some scattered mines (mines that have better ores in some areas) -temples ( built by gods for gods!) -remains of tribes (lost humanoid tribes that didn't evolve accordingly to others!) -wells (a primitive way of water, but it doesn't rain...) -dungeons (rewards, mobs and new weapons await!) -castles (gothic, medieval or fantasy?) -many custom made bossess (bossess such as: snake people, knights, wraiths or necromancers!) -boss arenas (som...

Shop Builds (ideas)

As of now 2 villages and one city is complete. A medieval looking trading village, and the Silver City! Due to the amount of time each city, village and structure takes this project will take about a year or two to be fully completed... Firstly, each village has it's own shops, some of them have better trades than other but that if for you to find out! A vast variaton of multiple architectural designs has been implemented in each build. For exaple: - A kind of Arab-ish looking toolsmith can be found in the Village of the Desert Ansk' Kahar. Using sandstone as it's main block, with tool cases and of course an old type of building... - A medieval weapons shop, with an roof of wood, open from the sides and the front. Displaying some weapons which can be purchased from the npc there. - An enchanter shop in the Village Of Caran.. Where a snake-woman and an ogre can be found seeling enchanted books, or even better enchanted items such as exp boosters or weapons! I try to incorpo...

Modpack and NPC WAR

The modpack I am making is a modpack based on something I was always in search of. Quests, adventure, magic and tech! It mainly uses custom npcs mod as it's main core, for other npcs and such. Furthermore many of the textures (used in custom npcs mod) that you will see are not mine. They were made by NPC WAR. His youtube channel can be found here: NPC'S WAR Youtube Channel The textures I used are here (both in old and new format): NPC'S WAR Custom Skins In this pack you will find: - Custom made biomes from a simple desert to the scary blackstone lands! - A huge variety of npcs in almost every village! - A lot of quests for basic survival, leveling and map related! - Tons of weapons and armor to choοse from! - Many different shops in each area ranging from tool smiths to an exp eater! - A big variety of building styles, block matching and detail to the last block! - The trading system if used correctly, lots of profit can be made from each shop! - Every hostile npc has drop...
