Project: Simple Pouches

Project Simple Pouches was made using Mcreator for 1.16.5. A small mod that adds 9 vanilla like pouches to Minecraft for more inventory storage. The mod can be found on my curseforge page or you can view it here: Simple Pouches Link Each pouch can be crafted in 2 ways: -Crafting Table: Creating the leather pouch and then just adding more materials to it, to upgrade it as a tier. Tiers are: Leather - Wood - Stone - Iron - Gold - Diamond Emerald - Obsidian and finally netherite! Stone to Iron -Smithing Table: Using a base pouch (not an actual pouch just an ingredient) and then just combining it with the desired material. A secondary recipe added which is much easier for everyone! -The pouches have: Leather 9 slots Wood 12 slots Stone 15 slots Iron 18 slots Gold 21 slots Diamond 24 slots Emerald 27 slots Obsidian 30 slots Netherite 36 slots All in all it's a small companion mod for modpacks or players that require more inventory space other than chests or shulker boxes!

Tips on modpacks..

For sure many modpacks nowadays have almost 100+ mods in them. Many people can't play a modpack with 200 mods and have good fps, so thinking around 100- mods should be a good start. By adding only 100 mods or less, more people can play and enjoy your pack and while playing fps will be at a good rate. How to make a modpack different and unique from others? Well, making a modpack is an "easy" step but it coming out as unique? Something that will surely make it unque is adding custom items, or ideas in it. Meaning: Making a custom map for your modpack or making custom npcs that you can trade and talk to. Adding a story to it which fits the whole custom map idea and gives it a more customized touch! Tools for doing this: world painter or in-game mod world-edit. Re-writting or renaming items in game can for sure give minecraft a new feel. While, for this you can use CraftTweaker, all information on how to use it is available on their site. (some knowledge of code is require...

What mods..?

Since we talked about choosing a theme for your modpack.. I'ts time to discuss about the next important part of the modpack-making, mods! Mods can be vastly found throughout the web but (for me) the best and safer page is curseforge . Search mods in curseforge, consider each and evey mod but choose only the ones that will fulfill a specific purpose in your modpack and mods that are useful to you. There are many mods out there such as: Recipe helping mods: (JEI) FPS Stabilization: (Optifine, Better fps, foamfix). Map/Teleportation: (Journeymap, Antique atlas, map writer, waystones, bonfires) Visual/Sound Enchancement: (Dynamic trees, dynamic surroundings, shaders) Combat Addons: (Spartan Weaponry, Spartan Shields, Tinker's Construct) Tech: (Thermal Expansion, Industrial Foregoing) Magic: (Bewitchment, Thaumcraft) I have written some of the very mainstream mods. The list could go on and on. Mods are a very essential part of any modpack, thus they should be chosen carefully and ...
