What do I want to automate..?

 Well now,
you are playing a new modpack that has many tech mods in and you don't know what to automate first and how to do it?

Take a pen and paper and just write down what you want...
If you're playing a sky block - based pack (you will have to automate many things) but let's start one by one...

If, you want to automate something such as:

- Power (RF/FE)
- Food
-Resources (Metals,blocks,machines,upgrades)
-Other.

What you should do first is think of a plan...

1) Make a place dedicated to automation.
2) Have a chest near that place with tools and essentials in making it.
3) If you want to automate something in a big scale, be sure to test in a singular way to be certain of it's usefulness.
4) Always have a secondary power option is the first one does not satisfy you.
5) Test your automation options in another creative world before doing so in your main.
6) Think in what ways your automation will be helpful!

Now, you should automate items or blocks that take way to long to craft by yourself.
That may be:
-machines
-gaining resources by using an auto-sieve (ex-compressum)
-autocrafting rubber (Sky Factory 4, mod: Industrial Foregoing)
-Crafting fuel for a generator

The options here are seemingly limitless so I have just said a few but you get the idea!

Modpack and NPC WAR

The modpack I am making is a modpack based on something I was always in search of. Quests, adventure, magic and tech! It mainly uses custom npcs mod as it's main core, for other npcs and such. Furthermore many of the textures (used in custom npcs mod) that you will see are not mine. They were made by NPC WAR. His youtube channel can be found here: NPC'S WAR Youtube Channel The textures I used are here (both in old and new format): NPC'S WAR Custom Skins In this pack you will find: - Custom made biomes from a simple desert to the scary blackstone lands! - A huge variety of npcs in almost every village! - A lot of quests for basic survival, leveling and map related! - Tons of weapons and armor to choοse from! - Many different shops in each area ranging from tool smiths to an exp eater! - A big variety of building styles, block matching and detail to the last block! - The trading system if used correctly, lots of profit can be made from each shop! - Every hostile npc has drop...

ZombieCraft

From many different youtubers playing zombie packs, to other apocalyptic games which I've played or seen. I had an idea! Not to add zombies of course but a mod that will add useful content to the player. That is the mod ZombieCraft ! ZombieCraft is currently made in Mcreator, it's available in 1.12.2 and it has in as of right now: -Military Uniforms: Max Damage Protection: 24 Current Sets: Tan Multicam Swat Combat Pilot Greek Desert & Snow Urban The way to craft one is easy. First of all, have JEI installed *(you will need it). Secondly, to make a set of any of the armours mentioned above you need fabric (which is crafted by 3 cloth). Some of the Uniforms: Simple Tan Combat Pilot Greek Desert Shots are a one time use item! When a shot is consumed it gives back an empty shot which can be re used! They give various effects such as: Adrenaline: Speed 3, Jump Boost 1 and Haste 3 -Ascension: Levitation -Hydro: Water Breathing -Runner: Speed 3 -Zombie: Hunger (15 seconds) and S...

Config Changing

Since we talked about  changing  recipes to your liking. Many mods when added into Minecraft create a config file containing item and block ids,  or mechanics and other stuff  related to each mod. For the people who don't know: Config files can be found here: In  the  windows bar: Type %appdata%. Open Minecraft's directory. Open the Config folder. There should cfg files for each mod that you have  added. CFG files can be opened with a simple text editor or  Notepad ++. They are very easy to change as many of  the things in a config file have a true or false in the end. Meaning: You add a mod  that adds new  blocks in  the game. You want  to change some ids along with a hardening difficulty the  mod adds. You will open and find the mod's config file (see above), open the mod's config. Find the id's you want to change and the line with the  difficulty. In  the end if it  says true change it to fals...
